to Bilancia Center of Health. “Bilancia” is Italian.
It means BALANCE which is central to our philosophy. We are
a medical clinic that practices traditional, service oriented,
medicine in a BOUTIQUE fashion. Your care will be provided by
Ms. Rice, a Nurse Practitioner. After a visit, you will feel
satisfied because you will have complete privacy, feel taken
care of, and be in and out in a flash. Ms. Rice is able to provide
blood tests, perform minor procedures and prescribe medicine.
At Bilancia we know that you are busy and have a desire to take
care of yourself. Your time with Ms. Rice will be more than
adequate and anxiety free. Dr. Glenn Figueroa, whose primary
practice is located in the Lincoln Medical Plaza, is Ms. Rice’s
collaborating physician. You may notice Dr. Figueroa’s
name on forms and paperwork, including statements from your
insurance company.

At Bilancia, we provide comprehensive examinations for our clients
at their pace to ensure that our clients are in optimal health.
We provide counseling on healthy lifestyles and prevention programs
to ensure that our clients remain happy and healthy. We help
manage medical treatment programs you may be on for chronic
ailments such as diabetes or hypertension. At Bilancia, we believe
that sickness is an unnatural state and that achieving optimal
health is everyone’s opportunity.
Boutique
Services
Bilancia is a boutique clinic - small in size by definition,
but large on service and amenities. An appointment at Bilancia
will lead you to a small sitting area with no waiting time.
We insist on a zero waiting time policy. We cater to professionals
and busy people who seek efficiency, service, and attention
to detail. Your questions and concerns will be addressed to
your satisfaction. We arrange for any of your healthcare records
from other facilities to be sent to Bilancia so you don’t
have to take time away from your busy schedule to deal with
the unpleasant task of maneuvering through the labyrinth of
healthcare facilities. We offer to schedule convenient times
for any testing that needs to be conducted off-site. Complementary
oral medications are offered on site to make your visit more
comfortable. Prescriptions for medications can be provided in
writing or called in to your pharmacy of choice. We will coordinate
all your future appointments for referrals as well as return
visits to the clinic before you leave so you can spend your
time thinking about more pleasant things. Your care is in our
hands and we are serious about our program.
Zero
Wait Time
New Clients: Your time is important and we don’t
want you to have to wait to see your healthcare provider. Whenever
possible, if you are a new patient, we request that you Pre-register.
If you cannot, please arrive at the clinic half hour before
your appointment time to complete the registration process.
Please fill out the necessary paperwork as quickly as possible
and return it to the receptionist so she can compile your chart.
Most of the paperwork in this facility is a legal requirement
and needs to be completed. Please understand that if you want
us to file a claim with your insurance company on your behalf,
it may take up to several hours to verify your insurance and
process your claim if we don’t have your information on
file. As soon as this information is completed and verified,
you will be seen without waiting.
Established Clients: Please make sure that the information
on we have on file is current. If we are providing courtesy
insurance claim filing services for you, please be familiar
with your policy and the amount you will be responsible for.
Arrive a few minutes prior to your appointment time and if there
are no urgent cases or emergency situations, you will be seen
on time without waiting.
Your
Concerns
During your visit we would like to extend our attention to help
you with as many and concerns as possible. In order to do this
efficiently, we ask that you please make a written list of your
concerns in order of importance and bring it with you to refer
to during your visit. Please let the receptionist know if you
have been seen at a medical facility in the last few weeks for
the same problem or if there are tests that you would like to
review, we can request them for you.
