Shelyna
A. Rice has been a Board Certified Family
Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) since 1999. She specializes
in three areas of medicine: 1) Primary care 2) Industrial
Health, and 3) Wellness management. She started her career
as a FNP with a large multi-specialty group practice and
later spent several years practicing at a hospital based
clinic with a major corporation. Currently, she is the owner/operator
of Bilancia Center of Health which she founded in 2006.
Ms. Rice graduated from the University of South Alabama
and Louisiana Tech University. She has a Masters Degree
in the Science of Nursing and a Masters Degree in Business
Administration. Prior to her training as a nurse practitioner,
she worked for years as a critical care registered nurse
in Intensive Care Units and Emergency Departments at large
urban medical centers both in the United States and abroad.
She has worked, traveled and studied in places around the
globe. She lives in Ruston, Louisiana with her husband and
two children. |
